Contributed Paper—Authors are invited to submit a two-page extended abstract. The abstract/paper should be written only in English, and must use the Template provided by IFETC (letter size, do not change to A4). The accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and may be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The conference proceedings published by IEEE Xplore, are indexed by EI. A selected number of authors of top-ranked conference papers may be invited to submit an extended version for publications as regular research papers in the Journal of Electron Devices Society (J-EDS, impact factor 3.1).
Presentation without Seeking Publication– One page abstract is acceptable, the accepted abstract will be included in the conference proceedings only.
Outstanding Student Paper Award and Outstanding Paper Award will be selected by the Technical Committee
A number of Outstanding Student Paper Awards, sponsored by IEEE Electron Devices Society, may be offered for the recognition of outstanding student papers among the accepted submission for 2018 IEEE IFETC. An Outstanding Student Paper Award is conferred to an accepted top-ranked paper whose first author is a full-time student at the time of submission of the paper, a member of IEEE EDS, and is the presenter of the accepted paper at the conference.
Each winner of the IEEE IFETC 2018 Outstanding Student Paper Award will receive $1000 CAD towards travel and accommodation and an award certificate.
Eligibility is restricted to those who are students in good standing at the time submission of the paper but do not yet have a PhD degree at that time.

Papers are expected to be scientific, high-impact works that will be read and cited worldwide. Posters are preliminary work not yet mature for a full paper. Presenting at IEEE IFETC is the preeminent way to get publicity and coverage for high-quality work on Flexible Electronics.
Accepted papers are chosen on these criteria :
- Importance of the problem
- Technical merit
- Potential impact of results
IEEE IFETC 2018 accepts paper submissions based on the Template prepared for this conference. Papers will be reviewed in a double-blind review process and submitted for publishing if accepted and presented at the conference. Submissions must be original and may not be under consideration elsewhere. IEEE IFETC will not tolerate scholarly misconduct in any form. Cases of multiple publications and plagiarism will be handled according to IEEE policies and procedures.
